More than 3.36 million Pioneers have now fully completed KYC after a new system process was introduced to handle Tentative KYC cases. This update allowed over 4.76 million Tentative KYC Pioneers to become eligible for full KYC verification.

The system uses advanced AI and analyzes large datasets, including liveness checks and KYC application information. Its purpose is to confirm that each applicant is a real, living person and that their application meets all requirements for final KYC approval.

These verifications help prevent fraudulent accounts, enforce Pi’s one-account-per-person policy, and maintain network integrity, ensuring fairness for genuine Pioneers.

Of the 3.36 million fully verified Pioneers, about 2.69 million have migrated to the Mainnet blockchain. Those who haven’t yet migrated should confirm their KYC status and complete the Mainnet Checklist to join Mainnet.

Tentative KYC Updates
An additional 3 million Tentative KYC Pioneers can be processed by this system if they complete the required extra liveness checks in the app. If your KYC is Tentative, make sure to finish any requested liveness checks promptly to become eligible for this process and finalize your KYC.

Engaging actively in the Pi app, including mining and other tasks, can also trigger automatic system processes, potentially accelerating KYC completion and Mainnet migration.

This development addresses the needs of Pioneers with Tentative KYC, strengthening Pi Network’s secure, authentic, and inclusive community of real users, which is the backbone of its Web3 ecosystem.
