When people think about AI translation failures, they often imagine dramatic mistakes. For example, a mistranslated medical instruction or a safety warning that causes injury. Those scenarios may happen in the future.

However, most current harm looks different. It appears in unclear product descriptions. It weakens brand credibility in non-English markets. It hides inside compliance documents that seem acceptable but contain subtle errors. It also creates internal confusion when multilingual content contradicts itself.

Although these issues rarely attract public attention, they still damage trust and revenue. Over time, small inconsistencies accumulate and create larger risks.
