A new AI-powered medical tool is raising hopes for millions of patients worldwide. Scientists at a leading research institute announced that their system can detect certain cancers at an early stage with over 90% accuracy.
The system works by scanning medical images and cross-checking them with patient records in seconds. “Early detection means higher survival rates and lower treatment costs,” said Dr. Miguel Torres, an oncologist involved in the project.
Hospitals in Europe, Asia, and Africa are already piloting the tool, with initial results showing improved diagnoses. Still, doctors insist that AI cannot replace human judgment. Instead, they see it as a powerful assistant.
Patient advocacy groups welcome the innovation but urge strong data privacy protections to ensure sensitive medical information is not misused.
