Apple is expected to unveil its new iPhone 17 lineup on September 9, 2025. Among these, the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max are anticipated to bring major changes, especially in design and technology.
One of the biggest updates is the redesign of the rear panel. The area that houses the cameras, sensors, and flashlight (camera panel) will be changed. Traditionally, this section had a square shape, but reports suggest it will now be a rectangular layout that stretches across the top rear part of the phone.
Due to this new design, Apple’s iconic logo on the back may be slightly repositioned to enhance the phone’s overall appearance.
The three rear cameras will also be upgraded, each reportedly offering 48-megapixel capability for sharper and more detailed shots.
The iPhone 17 Pro Max is expected to be larger than its predecessors, mainly to accommodate a bigger battery for extended usage. Additionally, its display will feature new technology that reduces light reflection, making it easier on the eyes.
Color options will include black, white, deep blue, and a unique muted orange that is likely to draw attention.
All iPhone 17 models will be powered by the new A19 Pro chip, promising faster performance and better energy efficiency.
Pricing will see a slight increase of about $50, with the iPhone 17 Pro starting at $1,049. Base storage options are expected to start at 128GB and go up to 256GB, which could help offset the price rise.
Taxes, as well as the country of manufacture (India, the U.S., or China), may also affect the final cost in different regions.
