Job Description

Isange Coffee Shop, established by King Faisal Staff Solidarity Fund (KSSF) members in 2014, seeks a Supervisor to manage daily operations of the coffee shop serving hospital staff, patients, attendants, and visitors.

Position: Isange Coffee Shop Supervisor

Job Requirements:

Education:

  • A1 Diploma in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years in supervisory roles within reputable coffee shops, restaurants, or hotels.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong people management and supervisory skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Clear and concise communication.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Team collaboration and adaptability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and monitor daily canteen operations, including staff rosters, record-keeping, opening and closing procedures, and attendance management.
  • Ensure staff compliance with KSSF policies and procedures.
  • Maintain high customer service standards.
  • Collaborate in annual budgeting with KSSF Manager, cashiers, and accountant.
  • Monitor and adjust food prices balancing sales, profit, and quality.
  • Manage stock levels and conduct regular stock takes.
  • Process payments and produce monthly financial reports.
  • Minimize food wastage through proper preparation and handling techniques.
  • Report health, safety, and maintenance issues promptly to management.
  • Uphold high hygiene and cleanliness standards.
  • Implement food safety procedures to prevent spoilage, contamination, and illness.
  • Maintain required records for Treasurer and Committee.
  • Prepare monthly operational reports.
  • Supervise canteen staff and assist during busy periods.
  • Resolve customer issues as they arise.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the KSSF board, Committee, and Manager.

Good to Have:

  • Previous experience in a healthcare or hospital environment is beneficial but not explicitly required.
