Kenyan music heavyweights Bensoul and Nviiri The Storyteller are set to headline a concert in Kigali as part of the festivities surrounding the UCI Road World Championships, which will take place in the Rwandan capital.
The two artists will perform at the “World Champs Night Life” concert scheduled for September 27, 2025, at Kigali Universe.
The show is organized to entertain fans and visitors attending the week-long cycling championships, and it will be staged on the eve of the final race.
Bensoul, who is expected in Kigali, has already collaborated with several Rwandan musicians on different music projects. His album The Party & The After Party features The Ben and Ariel Wayz. More recently, he teamed up with Aline Sano on the hit track Chop Chop, which is currently trending.
This will not be Nviiri The Storyteller’s first time performing in Kigali. In 2024, he was among the guest artists at Kivumbi King’s concert held at Kigali Universe.
Nviiri The Storyteller is a singer, songwriter, and guitarist who rose to fame in 2019 after joining Sol Generation Records, the music label founded by the Kenyan group Sauti Sol. He gained continental recognition through his breakout song Extravaganza.
Now 34 years old, Nviiri is best known for his smooth blend of Afropop, Soul, and R&B.
