Three Mountains learning advisors is a Rwanda-based E-learning development company. We are
pioneers in the development of localised e-based learning materials in Rwanda. We help people and
organisations develop their potential and improve their performance. We create engaging training
material, like videos, images, exercises, leaflets, posters and interactive online courses. We work in
close collaboration with the content experts of our partner organisations. We also do face-to-face
coaching, leadership and team training and facilitation of company retreats. More information:

Three Mountains has vacancies for 9-month internships in content development.
The interns will assist in the day-to-day activities of the company and will be trained to become
instructional designers. They will learn how to develop interesting interactive e-content, including
the production of educational videos. Opportunities may arise to assist in face-to-face facilitation and
online training sessions.

Requirements

  • You are interested in training and development, with a focus on instructional design for e
    learning and adult training,
  • You enjoy writing and design, since a lot of time will be spent designing and developing
    training materials,
  • You have a bachelor’s degree, preferably in education, communication, social studies, design
    or related fields,
  • You are a team player not afraid to express your opinion,
  • You have curiosity and you are willing to learn,
  • You have attention to detail,
  • You are fluent in English in expression, reading and writing; knowledge of French,
    Kinyarwanda and/or Swahili is considered an asset,
  • You are familiar with AI, Microsoft Office – WORD, PowerPoint and Excel
  • You are nine months full-time available.

  1. Go to our website, find and do the free e-course “Think critically” and do the assignment (see
    for instructions below)
  2. Write a short motivation letter
  3. Attach your CV

Send these three documents by email to: [email protected] addressing the recruitment
team. Indicate in the subject line that you are applying for the position: internship content
development.
The deadline for submission is Wednesday, 1st October 2025, 23.59 hours.
Only applications containing all three elements (the motivation letter, the CV and the answers to the
assignment) will be taken into consideration.
At this stage, there is no need to send other documents, like your ID, copies of diplomas, references,
or other formal documents.

How to do the assignment

Go to the course “Think critically”. Sign up and create an account. Do the course online. The full
course will take you around three hours. You do not necessarily have to complete the whole course,
you have to do enough to be able to reply to the following questions.

  1. What did you learn from the course? Do you have a way to apply it in your daily life? How?
  2. Make a table as below. Give at least 7 comments on the e-course. They may be suggestions
    for improvement or positive feedback for things you particularly like. Write your suggestions
    for improvements in the right column. Indicate the item number in the left column. At the
    end, also add some comments about the e-course in general.
