A deadly India nightclub fire in Goa has claimed 25 lives and left 50 others injured, following a late-night blaze triggered by a suspected gas cylinder explosion. Fire Triggered by Gas Explosion

According to the Press Trust of India, the fire erupted shortly after midnight when a gas cylinder exploded inside the nightclub. Officials reported that the victims included four tourists and 14 staff members, while dozens more suffered burns and smoke-related injuries.

Government Response and Investigation

Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has ordered an immediate investigation, promising strict action against anyone found responsible for safety lapses.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed deep condolences and confirmed the government’s support response. He announced that:
• Families of the deceased will receive 2,200 USD.
