JOB VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT – DISCIPLINE MASTER

Wisdom School Rwanda is seeking a dedicated, mature, and God-fearing individual to join our dynamic team as a Discipline Master. This is a full-time, live-in position requiring commitment, integrity, and a passion for nurturing responsible learners.

  • Location: Wisdom School Musanze
  • Type: Full-Time (Resident at School)
  • Reports to: Headteacher and Director of Studies
  • Start Date: September 2025

Key Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field

Proven experience in school discipline or leadership roles

Must be God-fearing, strong moral character, and a role model in behaviour

Fluent in English (spoken and written)

Must be above 30 years of age

Must be Willing and able to reside full-time at the school campus

Should posses excellent communication, conflict resolution, and mentorship skills

Key Responsibilities

Enforce school rules and uphold high standards of discipline

Monitor student behaviour and provide reports to leadership

Collaborate with staff to maintain a respectful school environment

Counsel students and guide character development Address disciplinary issues swiftly and fairly

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

  • A recognized diploma or A2 Certificate in Education or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven teaching experience in a primary school setting

  • Strong knowledge of the Rwanda National Curriculum
  • Passionate about teaching and nurturing young learners
  • God-fearing, disciplined, and of high moral integrity
  • Good classroom management and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to serve in rural or semi-urban school settings

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver effective and engaging lessons in line with the Rwanda National Curriculum
  • Promote child-centered and inclusive teaching practices
  • Prepare and assess learners’ work to track and support their academic growth
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and supportive classroom environment
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
  • Implement effective behavior management strategies rooted in love and discipline
  • Communicate effectively with parents about the progress and needs of their children
  • Work closely with fellow teachers, school administrators, and support staff
  • Participate in school devotionals, prayer times, and faith-building activities
