Job Description

About the role

The Part-Time Swap Station Attendant (SSA) is stationed at the charging station level and plays a pivotal role in delivering seamless customer service to Ampersand’s customers, particularly moto riders. We are seeking customer-centric individuals dedicated to effortlessly contributing to Rwanda’s rapidly expanding charging stations network. As a SSA, you will perform battery swaps efficiently and professionally, ensuring the organization maintains a positive customer reputation

Responsibilities:

Operational Understanding

  • Perform battery swaps for moto drivers at the charging station level.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of all activities within the Charging Station.
  • Monitor tools and equipment, ensuring optimization, efficiency, and regular maintenance.
  • Maintain a customer-centric orientation by ensuring accelerated swap service to avoid long waits for customers (moto drivers).
  • Communication and Reporting
  • Provide daily reports on station operations (equipment count, functionality, damages, facility issues, energy meter readings).
  • Offer updates and other useful information necessary for moto drivers.
  • Advise moto drivers on critical safety concerns regarding their motorbikes.

Professionalism

  • Report to work on time.
  • Always carry the official work uniforms and use personal protective equipment.
  • Oversee the cleanliness and organization of the station space.

Minimum qualifications

  • At least a high school certificate.
  • Proficient in using smartphones to handle online platforms.
  • Strong commitment and ability to perform physical activities.
  • Flexibility to work day and/or night shifts.
  • Flexibility to work at any charging station allocated.
  • Technical certificate from TVET school is an added advantage.
