GS Karambi and Collège Officiel de Mburabuturo Strengthen Educational Partnership Through Charity and Community Support

Two schools located in Karambi Sector, GS Karambi Day School and Collège Officiel de Mburabuturo Boarding School, have taken a remarkable step in strengthening their partnership through a joint community outreach program that brought hope to vulnerable students within the area.

A Partnership Rooted in Compassion and Education

On November 5, 2025, the Scout family of Collège Officiel de Mburabuturo visited GS Karambi for a community-based charity activity.The event aimed to support students from various primary schools in Karambi Sector who had dropped out of school or faced challenges continuing their education due to family poverty.

During the visit, the Scouts distributed essential school materials, including notebooks, pens, shoes, uniforms, and even money for haircuts, all intended to ensure that every child can continue learning in dignity and comfort.

Impact and Collaboration

This impactful event was made possible through the collaboration between GS Karambi, Collège Officiel de Mburabuturo, and the Karambi Sector administration.The partnership highlighted the power of youth-led initiatives and the importance of community engagement in achieving educational goals.

The charity event concluded with entertainment performances led by the Scouts of Collège Officiel de Mburabuturo, followed by a general sports activity that brought together students, teachers, and representatives from the Centre for Pedagogical Development (CPD).

The atmosphere was filled with joy, unity, and mutual appreciation — a true reflection of the spirit of education for humanity.
