Job summary
The Jobholder is responsible for maintenance, service & repair of all the company’s electrical and automation equipment to ensure minimum down time and support departments to maximize plant availability (Overalls equipment effectiveness).

Key competencies & qualifications
- Experience in electrical installation and automation of an FMCGS or related industry.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
- Should be conversant with Industrial Automation software systems (SIMATIC S7, ABB, Bradley etc).
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic/mechatronics or in related field with experience of 3 years or Vocational Training in electrical with practical experience of 4 years.
- Computer literacy (Intermediate level of excel & word)
- Proficiency in English and / or French
- Be able to work under pressure.
- Have teamwork spirit.
Main responsibilities
- Advise and support electrical technicians in corrective action for packaging automation system failures.
- Provide management information on breakdowns and work order progress via monthly reporting of breakdowns and stoppages.
- Enable process optimization by proposing software modification and functional descriptions of process automation where required.
- Participate in TPM improvement activities.
- Complete monthly reports on performance of automated brewery systems and instrument calibration schedule completion.
