1. African Leadership University (ALU)
ALU helps to build the skills that a young leader and entrepreneur will need for the future. Harness the characteristics essential for creating a mission-based life of impact and purpose. Aimed at enabling the most promising young leaders from across Africa to access an ALU education, despite financial adversity or economic barriers, the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at ALU implements a full scholarship programme and places particular emphasis on young women, refugees, and differently-abled young Africans.

2. Arizona State University (ASU)
Arizona State University is an institution committed to excellence, access, and impact. It pursues research that contributes to the public good.
The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at ASU provides access to quality education to high-achieving African students who face significant economic barriers and is currently in its Phase II with a special focus on Strengthening Institutional Linkages.

3. Ashesi University College
Ashesi University College is a private, non-profit institution with a mission to educate a new generation of ethical, entrepreneurial leaders in Africa.
Ashesi has been a key partner for the Foundation; and among other programmes, is supporting the creation of e-learning content, research on inclusion efforts for youth living with disabilities and experiential learning.

3. Université Mohammed VI Polytechnique
Through education, collaborative initiatives, and strategic partnerships, our mission at UM6P Canada is to establish enduring connections between Africa and Canada, promoting technology exchanges and cultivating a culture of cooperation to create a world-class learning environment.

4. University of Pretoria (UP)
The University of Pretoria is a multi-faculty, research-intensive university with campuses in Pretoria, its surrounds, and in the country’s economic hub, Johannesburg. The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at the University of Pretoria (UP) aims to support academically gifted African youth facing economic and social barriers who are committed to effecting positive change on the continent. The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program’s objective is to provide assistance to African youth who are faced with substantial socio-economic barriers, including refugees or internally displaced persons (IDPs) and persons with disabilities.

5. University of the Western Cape
The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at UWC supports academically talented youth from South Africa and other parts of the African continent.
