Mifotra is a ministry which is responsible for Public Service and Labor in Rwanda. This ministry created portal which is called “e-recruitment” where job seekers find government jobs online, this softened how Rwandans get job.

However, it seems to be easy to navigate Mifotra site, on other hand some Rwandans are unable to create account on Mifotra, that’s why we as Gate of wise, prepared clear guide which explains for you how to create and navigate mifotra site easily. Therefore, below is a detailed step by step guide.

Step 1: Open your favorite web browser

Grab your smart phone or PC (Personal Computer) and open any web browser which is installed in your device, here are some web browsers: google chrome, Mozilla Fire Fox, Microsoft edge, Safari, and alta-vista. Navigate to “Search bar” and write there “erecruitment”, then hit search button.

Step 2: Click on E-Recruitment – Rwanda Recruitment System Portal link from google search results.

After clicking this link, Mifotra’s home page will be opened. Navigate to the corner of right side and click register button.

Step 3: Fill in your personal information

In dialogue box, fill in your Id card number, e-mail address and telephone number, then hit “Next” Button.

Step 4: Check your e-mail inbox.

Green notification will pop up saying that there’s code sent to your e-mail. Now it’s time to open your email inbox, then open “erecruitment” mail, copy code, return back to your web browser and fill in that code, then hit “Submit” button.

Step 5: Create password.

We are heading the end, at this stage create you password. Remember that only strong password is allowed, you have asked yourself how strong password looks like? Let me break them down, a strong password is made up of Small letters, Numbers, Capital letters alongside Special characters, this password looks like this: mu850R(@). After creating your password, please kindly click “Next” button.
