Kendrick Lamar and Bad Bunny lead the night

The Grammy Awards took place in Los Angeles, marking the 68th edition of the ceremony. Rapper Kendrick Lamar emerged as the biggest winner for the second year in a row.

Lamar won five awards, including Record of the Year for Luther, a collaboration with SZA, and Best Rap Album for GNX.

However, the night’s top prize, Album of the Year, went to Puerto Rican star Bad Bunny for Debí Tirar Más Fotos.

Lady Gaga won Best Pop Vocal Album for Mayhem and Best Dance Pop Recording for Abracadabra. Lola Young earned Best Pop Solo Performance for Messy.

Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande won Best Pop Duo or Group Performance for Defying Gravity. In electronic categories, Tame Impala won Best Dance Electronic Recording, while FKA Twigs claimed Best Dance Electronic Album.

Latin and global music

Natalia Lafourcade won Best Latin Pop Album for Cancionera. Bad Bunny also secured Best Música Urbana Album for DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS.

In African music, Tyla won Best African Music Performance for Push 2 Start.

Rock, alternative, and metal

Turnstile won multiple awards, including Best Rock Album and Best Metal Performance. The Cure won Best Alternative Music Album for Songs of a Lost World and Best Alternative Music Performance for Alone.

Kendrick Lamar dominated the rap categories, winning Best Rap Album, Best Rap Song, and Best Melodic Rap Performance. Clipse, Pusha T, and Malice won Best Rap Performance for Chains and Whips.

Country, R&B, and Afrobeats

Chris Stapleton won Best Country Solo Performance. Tyler Childers earned Best Country Song.

In R&B, Kehlani won Best R&B Performance and Best R&B Song. Leon Thomas won Best R&B Album.

Film, television, and production

Ludwig Göransson won Best Score Soundtrack for Visual Media for Sinners. Doechii won Best Music Video for Anxiety. John Williams won Best Music Film.

Producer of the Year went to Cirkut, while Amy Allen won Songwriter of the Year.

Jazz, classical, and theatre

Samara Joy won Best Jazz Vocal Album. The Dalai Lama won Best Audiobook Narration. Buena Vista Social Club won Best Musical Theatre Album.

The ceremony highlighted a wide range of genres, reflecting the Grammys’ growing global reach.
