Are you passionate about empowering your peers and driving change in your community? The Ministry of Youth and Arts, in partnership with UNICEF and Generation Unlimited, is looking for 55 dynamic young leaders to join the Ingazi Youth Ambassadors Programme.

What is the Ingazi Youth Ambassadors Programme?

This is a six-month pilot initiative designed to empower young people to:

  • Mobilize their peers to use the Ingazi platform
  • Support them to register, complete courses, and access job and internship opportunities
  • Contribute to closing the skills and employment gap in Rwanda

Ambassadors will be deployed in 5 locations: 

  • Musanze
  • Ngoma
  • Rubavu
  • Huye
  • City of Kigali (Gasabo, Kicukiro, Nyarugenge)

Each location will have 10–15 ambassadors, including one designated representative.

What Will You Gain?

  • Leadership, facilitation, and digital skills
  • Goal-based stipend of Rwf 110,833/month (upon meeting targets)
  • National exposure and a chance to shape the future of Ingazi

Who Can Apply?

You must:

  • Be aged 18–30
  • Reside in Musanze, Ngoma, Rubavu, Huye, or the City of Kigali
  • Have at least an Advanced-Level (Secondary) diploma or equivalent
  • Complete three “Artificial Intelligence (AI)” courses on Ingazi and obtain certificates
  • Be fluent in Kinyarwanda and proficient in English
  • Have a complete profile on the Ingazi Career Hub
  • Be available for a week-long training in Kigali in late July
  • Experience in youth leadership, mobilization, or community engagement is an added advantage

What’s Expected of You?

Each month, you will be required to:

  • Register at least 167 youth on Ingazi
  • Ensure at least 25 completions
  • Facilitate at least 1 job or internship placement every 2 months

Ambassadors who meet their monthly goals will receive the full stipend. One ambassador in each location will also help coordinate reporting and logistics.

Steps to Apply

  1. Join the Ingazi learning platform, complete 3 “Artificial Intelligence (AI)” courses, and download your certificates (this is mandatory). Watch this video to see how it’s done: https://youtu.be/fRY3HehvAIU 
  2. Click the application link provided to applicants. You will be directed to the Career Hub sign-in page.
  3. Once at the sign-in page, click “Don’t have an account yet? Create one” in the top right corner
  4. Create an account on the Career Hub and completely fill out your profile
  5. Choose “I am a Job Seeker”
  6. Fill out the onboarding form
  7. Set up your profile
  8. Click the “I Accept” checkbox on the disclaimer
  9. Once you are at the opportunity, click “Apply”
  10. Fill out the application form that opens with accurate details
  11. Upload your three “Artificial Intelligence (AI)” course certificates in the form
  12. Submit the form and await a response from the organizing team

***Incomplete applications will not be considered. Please ensure your Career Hub profile is complete before filling out the application form.

Deadline: 13 July 2025 (midnight)

The application form will close at exactly 11:59 PM on the deadline.
