  • Pi Network teams up with Sign Protocol, boosting visibility and credibility.
  • Dr. Altcoin says this move reflects confidence in Sign’s infrastructure and could unlock new prospects for Pi.
  • Pi Network has scheduled a system upgrade for September 25.

Earlier this week in Seoul, Sign Protocol an Ethereum-based platform specializing in digital verification — revealed its new partnership with Pi Network during a community event. The alliance is designed to transform digital identity and value exchange across Web3.

Pi Network Sign Protocol Collaboration

Following the announcement, many community members questioned why Pi would join forces with Sign. According to crypto analyst Dr. Altcoin, the answer lies in Binance’s investment strategy. YZi Labs, Binance’s rebranded venture capital arm, recently poured $16 million into Sign, underscoring trust in its infrastructure and long-term outlook.

He noted that this investment indicates potential for future collaborations, including exchange integrations. Over time, such developments could even pave the way for a Binance listing once the Pi ecosystem demonstrates more maturity and transparency.

The Value of Sign Protocol for Pi

Sign Protocol specializes in blockchain-verified credentials that give users control over their digital identity. By merging its system with Pi, both networks can establish a secure, tamper-proof digital ID framework. This setup could be used globally, enabling interoperability among Web3 platforms while safeguarding user privacy.

The partnership not only elevates the visibility of both projects but also reinforces their legitimacy within the blockchain industry.

Upcoming Pi Network Upgrade

Pi Network has also announced a scheduled upgrade on September 25 between 8–10 AM PDT. During this period, sign-ups and logins will be unavailable.

The update is intended to enhance stability and security, providing smoother experiences for users. Pi Coin, currently priced at $0.2704 with a $2.24 billion market cap, may benefit from both the technical improvements and the collaboration with Sign Protocol.
