The health of Hollywood icon Bruce Willis remains a source of deep concern for his family after the actor was diagnosed with a degenerative brain disorder that affects his behavior, cognitive abilities, and social interactions.

According to RadarOnline, sources close to the family revealed that some relatives have begun to fear he may be in his final days.

“It has been devastating for the family to watch this once strong, vibrant man they loved so much lose the ability to speak or move,” one source said. “He is no longer the person he used to be. He cannot bathe, dress, or take care of himself. He cannot eat on his own—he needs someone to feed him. Right now, he relies entirely on caregivers.”

The insider added, “His loved ones are beginning to accept that his time on earth may be nearing its end. They know there is no cure and no treatment that can slow down or reverse the devastating progress of this illness.”

Recently, Willis’ wife, Emma Heming, spoke during an ABC News Special about the family’s new reality since his diagnosis. She revealed that Willis now receives specialized care in a facility for patients with similar conditions rather than living at home. While the decision has drawn criticism from some viewers, Heming stressed that the family had no other option.

Health expert Dr. Gabe Mirkin also weighed in, warning that “given his current condition, Bruce Willis may not have more than two years left to live.”

The 70-year-old star retired from acting in March 2022 following his diagnosis. By February 2023, his family confirmed that his illness had worsened and continued to progress.
