New tools and platforms for AI development
At its GTC conference on March 16, 2026, in San Jose, Nvidia introduced new tools for building AI agents. In addition, it launched systems designed specifically for agent-based computing. This move shows a shift away from relying mainly on GPUs.
Stronger security and collaboration
Nvidia also addressed security concerns. It introduced features that allow AI agents to access systems safely. As a result, users can protect their data and privacy. The company worked closely with OpenClaw creator Peter Steinberger to improve these protections.
Nvidia’s CEO described OpenClaw as a key system for personal AI. He compared it to major operating systems like Mac and Windows. Moreover, he highlighted its rapid growth and strong adoption worldwide.
Hardware innovation and partnerships
Nvidia shared updates about its Vera Rubin computing platform. The system is now in full production and includes multiple chips. Notably, Nvidia introduced CPU-based racks designed for AI agents. It also partnered with Groq to include high-speed language processing units.
The shift from chatbots to AI agents
Unlike traditional chatbots, AI agents can perform tasks on their own. For example, they can build websites, create marketing content, and send emails. Therefore, they represent a major step forward in AI technology.
Nvidia believes every company needs an AI agent strategy. In fact, it compares this shift to major innovations like HTML and Linux. Consequently, businesses must prepare for this change.
Expansion into space infrastructure
Nvidia is also exploring space-based computing. It plans to develop modules for data centers in space. This approach could solve growing energy and infrastructure challenges.
Nvidia expects demand for AI to keep rising. The company predicts major revenue growth through 2027. Overall, it believes AI will continue to transform industries by doing productive work.
