OpenAI is advancing plans to establish a new joint venture named The Deployment Company, designed to support businesses in integrating artificial intelligence into everyday operations.
Joint Venture Structure
The initiative has reportedly secured more than $4 billion in funding, placing its valuation at approximately $10 billion. The new entity will operate under majority ownership and control by OpenAI.
Investment backing comes from major firms including TPG Inc, Brookfield Asset Management, Advent International, and Bain Capital.

Additional participants include Dragoneer Investment Group and SoftBank Group, alongside a group of consulting firms.
Focus on Enterprise AI Adoption
The Deployment Company will focus on enabling organizations to apply OpenAI’s software and tools within daily business processes. Through partnerships, the venture gains access to over 2,000 portfolio companies and clients, creating a broad base for deploying AI solutions.
Industry Competition
At the same time, Anthropic has announced a similar partnership with Blackstone, Hellman & Friedman, and Goldman Sachs Group to build a comparable enterprise-focused AI venture.
Both companies are working with investment partners to accelerate the commercialization of their AI models and expand enterprise adoption ahead of potential public listings.
